Deseo una vez más darles una cálida bienvenida a la Quinta Edicón del Festival de Música de Cámara de Ribadesella, que al mismo tiempo representa ya la Decimocuarta Edición de Conciertos en la Cuevona de Ardines - un punto importantísimo y emblemático en la vida cultural de Asturias y la Costa Verde española. Gracias a la organización del Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Ribadesella un año más podremos disfrutar de Música de Cámara contando con artistas de nivel y proyección internacional. La Cuevona de Ardines representa un lugar único, combinando unas condiciones acústicas inigualables con la sensación de intimidad producida por la cercanía del público a los artistas. Las paredes de piedra, que han sido testigos de tanta historia, se llenarán de sublimes resonancias y perfectas harmonías. Además, el Festival de este año se abre con un concierto extaordinario en la Iglesia Parroquial de Ribadesella con un programa del pianista Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy, un punto de partida nuevo y excitante para la música en la región.

I wish one more time to give you a candid welcome to the Fifth Edition of the Ribadesella Chamber Music Festival, what at the same time represents the Fourteenth Edition of the Cuevona Concerts - a very important and emblematic landmark in the cultural life of Asturias and the Green Coast of Spain. Thanks to Town-Hall of Ribadesella organization one more year we will be able to enjoy Chamber Music with artist of international level and projection. The Cuevona of Ardines represents a unique place, combining unequalled acoustic conditions, with an intimacy produced by the close distance between the audience and the artists. The stone walls, which witnessed so much history, will be filled with sublime resonances and perfect harmonies. Besides, this year we will open with an extra concert with the distinguished German pianist Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy in the Parochial Church of Ribadesella, an exciting addition to the already rich musical life of the region.
